Vectonomous Labs is building an AI-driven data platform that ingests and analyzes large-scale market data to generate actionable insights.

We work on data pipelines, backend systems, machine learning, and AI agents. Building a system that turns raw data into real intelligence.

You'll be working directly with the founding team on real systems, not side projects.

Role

You will operate across AI, data systems, and software engineering, helping build and scale the core intelligence layer of the platform.

This includes machine learning systems, backend infrastructure, data pipelines, and agentic engineering workflows.

This is a founding-level role. Closer to a late co-founder / second CTO than a typical engineering position.

What you'll do

• Design and build AI and machine learning systems
• Develop data pipelines and intelligence services
• Build backend systems and APIs
• Develop and improve AI agent workflows
• Help shape architecture and technical direction
• Take ownership of complex systems end-to-end

What we're looking for

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving ability
• Strong engineering fundamentals (Python, backend, systems)
• Experience with AI / ML / data systems (broadly defined)
• Ability to operate independently and figure things out
• Thrives in high ownership, high autonomy environments

We care less about titles and more about raw ability. Physics, math, engineering, CS. Anything that signals deep thinking and problem-solving.
